Temba Mahlangu gives insight into his Gapit Immersion experience. He was part of the Gapit Medical Pipeline. He is now studying psychology at Griffith University in Australia.

Makanaka is a bright young lady. She will be going off soon to St George’s University in the United Kingdom where she will be studying medicine.

Giyan Sulcas is currently a 3rd Year Pre Med student at the University of British Columbia. He came all the way from Canada to be a part of the Gapit Medical Immersion Programme.

Mr Mordecai Mahlangu was so gracious to allow us the time to capture his testimony as a parent. Mordecai has been a partner at Gill, Godlonton and Gerrans since 1991 and specialises in corporate and commercial law, as well as labour law and commercial litigation. He is often called upon to act as an Arbitrator in labour and commercial disputes. Mordecai is recognised as a Leading Lawyer (Band 2) by Chambers Global.

Nyasha Chiwuta is a qualified Occupational Therapist. She has been an inspiration to many young adults through her mentoring of the trials and tribulations from her perspective. This has been pivotal for all our young adults as we, together with our partners, endeavour to equip our young adults as best as possible before they head off to University.

What a pleasure it has been to have Dr Munya Muriva on this journey. He is an amazing young medical professional who has committed himself to ensuring the next generation of medical professionals is of the highest standard. Dr Muriva is a General and Weight Loss Surgeon, a humanitarian and community health advocate, and Director of Newlands Family Clinic.

Dr Fungi Mazhandu is a specialist psychiatrist and mental health advocate based in Harare, Zimbabwe. She is one of the founding doctors that believed in the Gapit vision and because of her we have been able to connect and collaborate with more doctors.
